Hydrocortisone cream is a milder steroid cream which can be used for mild to moderate eczema and dermatitis. It will help to reduce the swellling and irritation of the skin by changing the way your body reacts to the irritation.
Eczema and Dermatitis can be prevented from getting worse and also have irritation reduced by using this cream. Hydrocortisone will reduce inflammation, itchiness and redness for up to 12 hours.

What can causes skin inflammation:
Skin inflammation is a result of a trigger and the immune system responds to it. The cells in the immune system widen the blood vessels which allows for a response to trigger more easily. This then leads to a number of symptoms such as redness, swelling and heat.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding consult your GP for advise before using this cream. If you become pregnant whilst using consult your GP straight away.
